Widest Variety

Of the many programs that Los Monitos Language Center offers, the widest variety of programs is offered to our adult language learners. All of our core languages are available on seasonal schedules (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and English) and adults can choose from many different days and class-times.

Our NEW 7-Week, 1 Hour-15 Minutes per week is designed for the busy adult and enrollment in our adult group classes now include (5) 1-Hour Themed Conversation class vouchers!

Adults who need or want to learn another language generally fall into one of four categories:

1. The passionate pursuer (or linguist). This learner is highly committed to learning language(s) and culture.

For the pursuer, we offer many classes, private instruction, book clubs, conversation clubs and cultural events to satisfy the desire to continuously learn…

2. The well-intentioned worker. This learner has a very practical need or use for a second language at work or personal pursuits.

For the worker, we will customize group, on-site or private instruction to precisely teach towards focused objectives…

3. The intimidated procrastinator. This learner would like to have the benefits of language learning, but has either had a previously bad experience or is fearful of the difficulty or rigor of language classes. Many times private instruction or a highly customized program is the best fit.

4. The non-inquisitor. This potential learner of a language has never seriously considered studying another language or never took it seriously when they were younger.

For the procrastinator or non-inquisitor, we partner and produce programs with other organizations that provide opportunities to “sample” or “collide” with language learning while enjoying other activities or pursuits! Los Monitos Language Center recognizes that all language learners are not created equal and we create programs that meet the learner where they are.
